What Is Dime Dime Baby? The Concha Guy Meme Explained
Dime Dime Baby is the TikTok meme of a young man who dances up to the camera at a party, bites a concha and spins back into the crowd. Origin, timeline and how to join.

"Dime Dime Baby" is the name TikTok gave to a short party clip: a young man in a black polo shirt dances up to the phone filming him, takes a big bite of a concha (a Mexican sweet bun), chews while looking straight into the lens, then spins and dances back into the crowd. He is also called the bby wow guy or the concha guy.
Where the clip comes from
The clip is a guest's phone video from a party, widely described online as a quinceañera (a 15th birthday celebration) in Mexico. The copy shown on our home page was posted on TikTok by @eve.el.cholo in July 2025.
In October 2026, TikTok users started pairing it with a sped-up version of the song "BbY WOW", and the clip took off again as a trend. People now remake it with themselves as the dancer.

What happens, second by second
We measured the original frame by frame (9.2 seconds, vertical):
| Time | Beat | What he does |
|---|---|---|
| 0–2.2s | The walk-in | Bent-knee shuffle toward the camera across the dance floor, concha hidden in his hand |
| 2.4–3.6s | The concha bite | Lifts the bun to his mouth and takes one big bite |
| 3.8–5.4s | The look | Close-up: chews with full cheeks, looking straight into the lens |
| 5.8–9.2s | The spin | Turns away and dances back into the crowd; the camera follows |
Why it went viral
- It is short and readable. Four beats in nine seconds, each one clear even without sound.
- The bite is the punchline. Nobody expects a sweet bun mid-dance.
- It is easy to copy. Anyone with a phone and a party can try it, and anyone with one photo can do it with AI.
